Covid-19 Updates

If you are traveling from out of state, please note that the City of Chicago has updated its travel advisory as follows: “Any unvaccinated people traveling from these states and territories [including Florida, New York, and 28 other states] are advised to obtain a negative COVID-19 test result no more than 72 hours prior to arrival in Chicago or quarantine for a 10-day period upon arrival. Vaccinated individuals do not need to quarantine or receive a negative test”

We will be following the latest CDC and State of Illinois guidelines to have a safe event. The entirety of the celebration will be held outdoors, and the overwhelming majority of our guests will be fully vaccinated. We will have guests over 90 and with high risk conditions, so we request that, if any of our guests are unvaccinated, they get a negative test before attending and wear a face mask. If you have any specific concerns please let us know in advance.

Dress Code is Formal. What are we, farmers?*

The event will be held outdoors over an uneven grassy area, so we recommend avoiding stilettos and very high heels of any type. Although September is usually comfortable, Chicago weather can be unpredictable. Remember to check the forecast, and bring a light jacket or shawl for the evening (we are looking at you, warm blooded Colombians!)

*As much as Robb would like to channel his best Jack Donaghy, and has insisted on wearing a tux, we would love for our guests to wear a suit and tie. But how could we pass up an opportunity to quote one of the greatest one-liners in television history?
